Carissa the Apprentice

Carissa is a petite, nonthreatening young woman standing roughly 5'2" with brown hair typically kept at shoulder length or slightly longer.

From a young age Carissa was certain she wanted to be a wizard. This desire was inspired by her father, who told her stories about wondrous spells and grand towers and magnificent creatures throughout her childhood. Sadly, the man was a notorious tale-telling charlatan and was beaten to death by an angry mob when Carissa was only 9. This didn't derail the girl for long, however; at the age of 15 she enrolled in the Academy of Magical Studies.

Not long after she arrived it was discovered the girl lacked the spark necessary to learn magic, but one instructor noted she kept a neat room and might be useful to keep around to do some cleaning and other work nobody else wanted to do. Thus she began her career as a sort of errand girl, still given instruction from time to time, mostly so she wouldn't quit. Naive and trusting, she was occasionally given less savory duties as well...
